About Me
Jeff Brockman Ballantyne Therapist
Need A Mental Health Therapist in North Carolina? I take Blue Cross, United, and now Aetna!
Those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music. –Nietzsche
As the parent of a struggling middle school student, or as an adult who wrestles with anxiety, depression and/or grief, you may wonder if it is ever going to get better. You need a mental health therapist. As a result, you have done countless Google searches (mental health therapist near me, adhd therapist, depression therapist, adolescent therapist), and perhaps talked to many friends and neighbors. Maybe you had thought you found a solution, only to find out it was a temporary solution. I have reasonable fees; don’t pay Southeast Psych or Carolinas Counseling Center prices.

It Can Get Better!
It CAN get better and many solutions can be permanent! Therefore, you need solutions that start working immediately so you can have more enjoyment than you have now. Above all, envision what it would be like if you found solutions to behavior issues, anxiety, and/or depression. Then, imagine enjoying your favorite activities again! You may be near when it seems so far! You will get the benefit of my twenty plus years of working with children (including ADHD, autism, and Asperger’s) and adults as a minister, teacher, and counselor.
Caring and Nonjudgmental
Welcome home. My name is Jeff. If you want to know more about how I interact with people, click here to Read my Google Reviews. I strive to be warm, caring, and non-judgemental in my interactions with people. I have been through some difficult times and want to help you out of them too! As a therapist, I want to spend time connecting with you and/or your child so that you feel safe. I will point out your strengths and, together, we will choose some goals for therapy. What is holding you back?
On the road less traveled, I have been a teacher, a minister, and a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.). Counseling is my fourth career. Here is a look at some of the highlights (actually, some were lowlights;-).
